With blistering heat ( yes, a genuine heatwave in Wales! ), the steepest hills I could find,
numerous mechanicals and the occasional wrong turn, all the riders set out to cover 338km and 5,632m of ascent.
Crossing Snowdonia, Central Wales and the Brecon Beacons was never going to be an easy challenge.
Fortunately the 15 dams on route, numerous vistas, lakes and stunning landscapes made every mile that much more worthwhile.
A huge congratulations to all the riders is due, whether they made the whole route or just as far as their legs ( or bike! )
could carry them. This year's ride was one of the longest and most hilly yet; certainly one to be proud of!
Total Raised - £ 12,330 !!
A huge thank you is due to all the sponsors, riders and especially the support crew.
Clichéd I know, but it would not have been possible without you. This year, your efforts have helped raise that whopping total!
This will go a huge way to kickstarting EFOD Cardiff's next project - a nursery and primary school build in Uganda.

Special thanks must go to the following:
Arup - A continual sponsor of the ride, giving both match funding of totals raised and time for organisation.
Mott Macdonald - Another loyal EFOD supporter. Their support goes a huge way towards numerous EFOD projects year on year.
Eurovehicle - The support each year with the provision of hire vehicles at charitable rates goes a huge way to converting
costs to significant money raised for the charity. Thank you.
Thomas Martin - the greatest individual sponsorship this year - £ 595!
An incredible effort. Thank you again.
A well earned break.
